This is a call to action for individuals and groups around fortress Europe. f.Lotta is a scream of protest from civil society, a call to reject the normalization of border violence and its system. Join us!

With or without a boat, at sea and on land: there are many ways to become part of the movement. Some ideas:
1. Take your boat, that of our friend, or steal a rich yatch and join us!
The more boats we are, the more noise we will make! If you have friends with boats that could be interested in joining f.Lotta, or friends of friends, talk to them about the protest, put us in touch!
2. f.Lottine
A f.Lottina is a sea occupation parallel to the one in Lampedusa. This facilitates the participation of faraway boats and amplifies f.Lotta reach. Symbolically, many different sea-protests orchestrate a collective siege against fortress Europe. We already have some f.Lottine in the making. If you have a boat and want to participate in the direct action, but Lampedusa is too far, reach us out!

3. Land f.Lotta
The sea-occupations are the beginning of the story, not the whole story. We need to stage protest events to counter the expanding influence of the far rights and its ugly values. We cannot do it without land events!
Can you and your collective organize a land f.Lotta event? Be it a talk, a screening, a march, a sit-in in front of the deportation center in your city: be part of f.Lotta land crews. Before and after the sea action, let’s disrupt the system together.
4. Enrich the political platform
Are you part of a group which works on or has developed already a specific campaign, connected to freedom of movement, that needs to be part of f.Lotta political platform? Let us know! Our framework is OCOB: One Campaign One Boat. We will try to match each campaign with a boat during the sea protest, to bring the campaigns at sea with us. And if you wonder about the connections with freedom of movement, don’t worry too much: fights are intersectional!
5. Talk and write about us
To your local radio or left newspapers. You can check our media page for the press releases and media kit, and you can reach us out to our press email at any time: press.flotta@inventati.org
To family and friends: you never know about the connections that are created, and what comes out of it. We have flyers and posters to spread in your cities, and more material if you need – ask for it!
Let’s parasite the social media sphere. Share this call to action. Let’s mobilize as many people as possible. We are spontaneous, horizontal, direct-action driven. The above are some ideas, but if you have another one, go for it!
6. Share the statement to support f.Lotta
